It’s here! GOOD INTENTIONS 5: DEVIL IN THE DETAILS is out now!

It’s been a long road, but today’s the day! DEVIL IN THE DETAILS is available in ebook and paperback now!

Once the shadows of magic enter a mortal’s life, they never really leave. Alex learned that from the moment he met Rachel and Lorelei, but he fell for them anyway. Months later, Alex copes with supernatural chaos by grounding himself in ordinary things and daily life. Most days, he’s even happy.

That steady anchor comes loose with a call from a sister he didn’t know he had in Las Vegas, searching for the father he hasn’t seen in a decade. Scheming demons and a growing online cult quickly complicate the family reunion Alex never wanted. Yet the greatest threat may come from Heaven itself—and an angel’s judgment over Rachel and Lorelei.

Warning: Devil in the Details contains explicit violence, explicit sex, profanity, perfidy, public indecency, magic, demons, grouchy angels, a stable polycule, an annoying supervisor, dirty talk, assault, battery, vehicular assault, trespassing, sexy trespassing, concealed weapons, attempted mauling, poison, coercion, breaking and entering, underwear, nudity, multiple threesomes, theft, illegal parking, mutual possession kink, aggressive statement sex, organized crime, a protection racket, impalement, immolation, podcasts, conspiracy to commit mass murder, arcane ritual sex with a wholesome undertone, exploitation of toxic masculinity, a maximum dudebro gym, familial dysfunction, misuse of fire safety systems, disrespect for vampires, contempt for AI, violent contempt for the Confederacy, magically-induced vomiting, reckless driving, fraud, pedantic clarifications, artistic license regarding real-life tourist attractions, cheating, lies, an amicable breakup, violation of casino regulations, arbitrary nicknames, a sad childhood flashback, karaoke, brunch, betrayal, obstruction of justice, unsafe driving, and an extremely angry fossil.

All characters are over the age of 18 except for the aforementioned flashback. That part doesn’t get weird.

DEVIL IN THE DETAILS is available in paperback and ebook on Amazon, including Kindle Unlimited.

(The audio edition will be out sometime in the near-ish future. Audible has made an offer and has a contract in the works, and Tess Irondale is happy to continue the series. I don’t have a projection on when, but it’s happening! And as a reminder, GRAND THEFT SORCERY is also brand new in audio, also narrated by Tess, in the same world and sharing characters from Good Intentions!)

As always, thank you so much for your interest, your support, and for your time! I’m deeply grateful. It feels like a weird time to be hyping a feel-good fantasy book, but I figure everyone needs some space to decompress. If that’s a way I can help, I’m more than happy to provide.

Take care!

Thank you! Good Intentions is one of my favorite series. Like super delicious comfort food that makes me think…but not too hard and with lots of laughter.

With Amazon’s recent unforgivable elimination of all downloadable content, have you considered also selling your books on a platform that still provides downloads, such as BookFunnel or SmashWords? I’m trying to make a special effort to support authors who have started doing this.

    Thanks.

Hi, oh god, sorry I didn’t see this when it was posted. Obviously I need to give the site more attention. 🙂
Some of my books are kind of stuck at Amazon for the long term. The first two Poor Man’s Fight novels are signed with Amazon Publishing, so I can’t really move them or the series. Apart from that, MUCH of my readership is on Kindle Unlimited, which requires exclusivity with the ‘zon. If I could swing a move away financially, I’d sure give it a shot.

I am looking at alternatives like BookFunnel for some future projects, though, including my next audio release. Stay tuned!

Man, where have you been? I’m sure I can speak for all your readers when I say how much we’ve anticipated this!
